Power Soccer is a sport specifically designed for individuals who use power wheelchairs. Power soccer showcases the speed, skill and intensity of traditional soccer. The sport is played indoors on a gym floor and power wheelchairs are equipped with specially designed ‘guards’ to advance the ball down the court.
GLASA has 1 competitive team, GLASA Chicago Fire Power Soccer, for those who have experience playing the sport and would like to travel to tournaments throughout the season. GLASA has a limited availability of guards and specialized power chairs for players to use.
