Camp Trek is our annual adaptive sports day camp that introduces youth with disabilities to sport and recreation activities in an inclusive setting. The focus of this camp is to provide recreational experiences for youth with physical or visual disabilities that will spark interest and a desire to play recreationally or competitively.
How To Participate
Youth are paired one-on-one with a volunteer camp counselor, and together they participate in adaptive sports like tennis, basketball, softball, kayaking and yoga.
Important Dates
GLASA Camp Trek takes place one week each summer in Lake County, Illinois.
August 4, 2025 – August 8, 2025, 9am-3pm each day
Amputation / Limb Difference, Blindness / Low Vision, Mobility Impairment, Paralysis / Spinal Cord Injury, and Short Stature
